Alex Hirschi more popularly known as Supercar Blondie, stepped onto the automotive scene in 2016 and has never looked back. Today, she is arguably the biggest female automotive influencer in the social media space with a combined following well in excess of 40 million across her social media accounts.
In September 2020, Supercar Blondie celebrated the fact that her Facebook posts garnered a record-setting 1.4billion views in the previous month – an incredible feat. Supercar Blondie adopts a light-hearted approach to her car reviews where she discusses the cars without going into too much technical detail. Her status has given her access to some pretty neat concept cars out there and here, we profile some of the most extreme examples.
10 Renault Morphoz
In March 2020, Renault joined a host of other carmakers in acknowledging the future direction of the automotive sector by unveiling their own electric vehicle. Supercar Blondie was present during the reveal and she shared what makes the car unique.
The car is called the Renault Morphoz and that’s a direct reference to its ability to alter its shape. The car can extend its overall length by as much as 40 centimeters to create more interior space. That’s in addition to other futuristic features such as doors that open with a wave and level 3 autonomous driving capabilities.
9 Mercedes-Maybach 6
Electric cars may very well be the future but this does not mean that there will be a compromise on luxury. That was very well presented by Mercedes when they showcased the massive 6-meter long Mercedes-Maybach 6. The sleek automobile is powered by an all-electric, all-wheel-drive system that whips up a total of 750hp that can accelerate the behemoth to 60mph in less than 4 seconds.
The interior is tastefully designed with quilted leather and open-pore wood trimmings. There is also a continuous glass display that blends digital technology with analog elements, completing that feeling of niche luxury and class.
8 Faraday Future FFZero1
Faraday Future is well known for their other-worldly vehicles and the FFZero 1 has to rank as one of their most extreme creations. The hypercar seats one and is built around an electric powertrain that boasts a meaty 1,000hp.
Supercar Blondie was allowed to sit in the co*ckpit and explore how you can use the car’s app, downloaded on your smartphone, to configure settings like the traction control and throttle response. This allows for a truly personalized driving experience and one can only imagine how this must feel on the public roads if Faraday Future ever transform this concept car to reality.
7 Citroen GT
The French carmaker is not in the business of building supercars but that did not stop them from creating this bonkers automobile. The Citroen GT was a truly special concept that made its debut at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. It was primarily designed for the 2008 Gran Turismo video game.
As of today, there are still no plans for mainstream production but Supercar blondie got a chance to actually drive the car and explore some of its features in Paris. In the real world, the car is powered by a Ford-sourced 5.4-liter V8 engine that generates up to 646bhp.
6 Lamborghini Terzo Millennio
Yes, Lamborghini is also going to eventually ditch its famed gas guzzlers in favor of something more environmentally friendly in the near future. The insane Terzo Millennio provides a glimpse into how the future could look like for the lads at Lamborghini.
Instead of batteries, this all-electric hypercar is powered by supercapacitors to save on weight and to exploit its rapid storage and discharge of energy. In October 2019, Lamborghini Head Designer was able to arrange a review of the car by Supercar Blondie in Milan and she discussed the car’s self-healing carbon fiber skin among other features.
5 DS X E-Tense
DS Automobiles is a sister brand of Citroen. In July 2018, they unveiled a strange concept that represented their vision of what cars would look like in a year 2035 setting. Their creation was dubbed the DS X E-Tense and unsurprisingly, it is autonomous and all-electric.
However, the standout feature of the car is its asymmetrical look. One side contains the driver’s co*ckpit with a full instrument display, perfect for when the driver wants to be in charge. The other side is a cocooned space where you can kick back and let the car do the driving. It is an interesting concept no doubt; it’s just the external design that may be a hard sell to the 2035 consumer market.

4 Rolls Royce 103EX
Supercar Blondie travelled to Goodwood, the home of Rolls Royce to have a first-hand experience of the British carmaker’s vision for the future – the Rolls Royce 103EX. Judging from her video review, she came away truly impressed with what she saw.
Like the Mercedes-Maybach 6, the car is massive and stretches for almost 20 feet.It also retains the traditional grille, though in a much larger form. The interior bears the trademark luxurious feel that’s at the heart of all Rolls Royce cars. With this one, the future is going to be one posh ride.
3 Mercedes EQ Silver Arrow
The appropriately named EQ Silver Arrow is a concept car that pays homage to the legendary 1937 W125. That car itself drew inspiration from airplanes of that era and its streamline shape helped the car to set an automobile speed record that remained unbroken until November 2017 when Koenigsegg unleashed their Agera RS on a closed public road in Nevada.
The car is a single-seater made from carbon-fiber and finished with a special silver coating that gives it that liquid metal look. Total power output from the electric motor is rated at 738hp, enough for some truly impressive road performance. It’s unlikely that the car will ever go into full production but it does offer a fascinating glimpse into what the German automaker is capable of.

2 BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R
BMW unveiled this radical concept car in 2015 but it was not until January 2020 that Supercar Blondie was able to explore the car in detail. The car was built to celebrate BMW’s championship successes in 1975 using a bespoke BMW 3.0 CSL. It shares certain similarities with that car such as the gigantic rear wing.
Its power output is rated at around 500hp. Supercar spoke with BMW’s Head of Design and he suggested that for the right customer, a road-worthy version of the car could actually be built. That would be something to behold indeed.
1 2015 Bugatti Atlantic
Bugatti has given us some pretty impressive cars like the Chiron and Veyron to drool over. However, what a lot of people may not know is that those hypercars have siblings that remain in the shadows; design ideas that never got the green light for production.
One of such vehicles is the 2015 Bugatti Atlantic, a concept car that Supercar Blondie was lucky enough to examine in person. The car was conceived with the option of a twin-turbocharged V8 or an all-electric drivetrain. The external look retains the unmistakable Bugattidesign language like the horseshoe grille and a noticeable centerline that, in this case, pays homage to the iconic Type 57.
